The Chola dynasty raised some of the most magnificent temples the world has seen: soaring granite towers, bronze figures cast with astonishing grace, and halls where incense and lamplight have risen together for a thousand years.
Royal Chola was born from a love of that world. Our name is a tribute to the craftsmanship, devotion and quiet ceremony that defined it.
Rolled by hand
For seventy-five years we have made incense the way it has always been made: slender bamboo cores coated with a paste of natural aromatics, then dried and finished by hand. No shortcuts, no imitation of the real thing.
Each of our six fragrances is composed like a small piece of music: a bright opening, a full heart, and a warm, lingering base. Sandalwood for stillness. Jasmine and Rose for romance. Saffron for occasion. Champa for devotion. Lavender for calm.
However you use them, whether in prayer, in celebration, or simply to mark the close of a day, we hope they bring a little of that heritage into your home.
